SUSTAINABLE LIVING - HOW?

We live in a material abundant era, we have more personal belongings in general than any of our past generations, but we have done it by taking too much from our natural resources up to a dangerous level with little efforts to reverse the situation. People who are concern about it came up with the new concept of sustainable living, the term itself carries a certain urgency, and that not making it would mean the beginning of unsustainable situations, ability to make it would mean contribution by all means. So how can we make it? There are lots of ways, here are some suggestions.

BUY LESS
Increased spending power enable us to purchase more to the extend of buying unnecessarily, this needs to change.

BUY SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS
This would directly encourage more R&D and supply of sustainable creations and less exploitation of natural resources. Why not?

BUY QUALITY
Spend a little more to buy better quality items instead of cheap and short lived products that just contribute to more rubbish in the landfill.
